Our system will then automatically route the document to the appropriate county recorder’s office for processing. With Recording Express Online you can easily and quickly record your documents without the hassle of visiting the recorder’s office in person.

When submitting a document for recording with any county recorder’s office, it’s important to ensure that it meets certain requirements to avoid delays or rejection:

  • Each document must be on white paper that is 8.5 inches by 11 inches, or 8.5 inches by 14 inches.
  • The document must be legible and free of any attachments or staples.
  • Minimum font size of 10-point.
  • The document must be scanned in Black & White (BW), and as either a PDF or TIF, at 300 DPI if possible.
  • For transfers of real property, a complete legal description is required on the document.
  • For affidavits, the first page of the document must have a top margin of 3 inches, and all other margins must be at least 1 inch.
  • If the document is an exemption claim, an exemption code must be provided on the face of the document. Exemption codes can be found here.
  • For documents unrelated to a specific county, or out of state documents we recommend recording in Pima county to avoid unnecessary rejections.
